Itinerary Update!

I got word from WindAid that we will be in the Playa Blanca community twice this trip! The first time will be in week two when we go up to help with maintenance of a few existing wind turbines, and to help with design of their new Wind Workshop. The second trip will be in the fourth and final week when we install our fabricated wind turbine! I'm super excited that this trip will really focus on the Playa Blanca community and I cannot wait to see what this trip has in store for me! I leave Friday evening (12/30/16). 

If anyone is interested in contacting me while I'm down there, I will primarily be using the Whatsapp and Facebook messenger. I should have some wifi available to me and email should work as well. I do have an international calling and texting plan, but as it is so tiny, I will be using the other apps to contact people beyond a simple "things are going great!" message.

I'm super blessed to have such support behind me going on this trip! The articles different than the SUNY Canton one, but are the same content per link, they just used different photos in each paper.

Only two more weeks until I head out!

Flights Booked!

I just booked my flights!! I will by flying out on Friday, December 30th and will arrive in Trujillo, Peru with the WindAid team on Saturday, December 31st! I'll be spending New Year's in a foreign country this year!! I can't wait to go and share my experience with you. I'm hoping the wifi there will be good enough that I can upload some videos and conduct a video log (vlog) rather than writing everything down, as it will take me so much longer to write everything rather than just explaining it in a video. Adiós for now!
